Sarah Kreiner

OWNER, PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR

Sarah is the owner of The Mix Studios, and has been a Personal Trainer since 2008. She loves variety in her workouts with a balance of keeping it safe. She is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Shelby

PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Shelby is focused on connecting mind, body and soul. As a Certified Personal Trainer and a Life Coach, she combines mental wellness with physical wellness.
Her own practices include strength training, meditation and mindful eating.
Her training sessions are centered on functional movement, corrective exercise, and joint mobility.
She emphasizes flexibility and strength as a means to longevity.
Her goal is to lead more people to a pain-free existence & hopes you’ll find joy in the amazing abilities you have within!

Becky Round

NUTRITIONIST, PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Becky is a Ace Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Dietitian. She has a passion for healthy eating and fitness and she is using it to help improve the lives of others. She believes that exercise should be tailored to the individual so that personal goals are obtainable and fit into people’s lifestyle. Becky lives by the belief that exercise should not only be beneficial to your health but also FUN!!

PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Alex has been working in the fitness industry since 2015. She’s an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer as well as a 200-HR Yoga Teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance. Growing up she played many different sports and fell in love with track and field in high school. In her early 20’s she discovered a love for Pilates and weight lifting and began teaching group fitness classes. She is certified in several group fitness formats, such as Barre Above, Les Mills Bodypump, POP Pilates, and High Fitness. Her passion is connecting people with the type of movement that they look forward to doing. She loves the connections she has made with so many over her years in the industry. Her training methodology focuses on functional movement that is fun and empowering.
When she’s not working up a sweat, she loves spending time with her husband and furbabies, listening to true crime podcasts, playing with makeup, and reading.
Maydis

PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Maydis has been active in fitness and health for over 20 years. She especially enjoys teaching functional fitness and promoting wellness and self-care for all ages.  Maydis is passionate about creating fun, low impact, effective workouts that keep clients motivated.  In her spare time you may find Maydis creating a new healthy recipe.  She particularly likes vegetarian cuisine.  She loves to get massages, decorate, read self-help books and do Bible study.  Maydis is certified with ACSM, ISSA, and AFAA.

Robin
YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Robin founded Yoga Rising in 2013, holds her E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), and completed advanced training in Yoga for Athletes (w/ Sage Rountree). Robin teaches all levels of students, supporting them in increasing their mobility & flexibility and combining relaxation & challenge.
For athletes, Robin believes that suppleness and balance are an essential part of sports, and incorporating yoga as part of a training plan results in fewer injuries, increased performance, and greater longevity for participants.

Kim Boyce
Kim Boyce

PERSONAL TRAINER & GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Kim is a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA with a specialization in Senior Fitness. Her passion is helping clients live life to the fullest through functional workouts that incorporate strength, balance and mobility. Having been active in horseback riding, dance, marching band and years of scouting with her sons, Kim enjoys tailoring programs to individual needs while keeping them enjoyable!

Yoga INSTRUCTOR

Uday started his yoga practice in India in middle school. It was taught as part of students’ physical training. He fell in love with yoga from his first class! After school he started exploring yoga and his practice evolved beyond the physical aspects. While in college he started “Pranayama” and meditations and continued his studies of both.
He started teaching Yoga in India, in 1994.

After coming to US, he started blending his yoga teaching and practice with modern yoga while keeping his “inner yoga” (i. e. Pranayama, meditation etc) close to the original practice. He completed his 500hr YTT at Hilltop Yoga Studio in Lansing with Hilaire Lockwood.

Katie Palmer E-RYT 200 Registered with Yoga Alliance
For Katie, yoga is more than just a physical and mental practice, it has allowed her to embrace her body while cultivating confidence and self-acceptance.
Influenced by the diverse yoga community, teachers, and peers she brings empowerment to every class, showing students that yoga is for everybody and every body.
Her classes are encouraging and challenging, allowing students to learn about yoga and the yogic lifestyle while experiencing it. By incorporating meditation, pranayama, asana, and thought, she aims to have every student leave reinvigorated and renewed.

When Katie is not teaching or on her mat, you can find her hanging with my Hubby, rescue pup, and toddler!

ALYSSA

TRAMPOLINE FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Alyssa is a Dance Student at Eastern Michigan University and has 8 years of competitive dance experience.

LIZZY

TRAMPOLINE FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Lizzy is an ISSA Certified Kickboxing Instructor and have a passion for health and fitness. From being an athlete in high school to participating in yoga, Zumba, kickboxing, and swing-dancing classes, staying active is a large part of her life.

JAIDEN

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Jaiden is a Senior Dance Major at Eastern Michigan University. Born in Ann Arbor, Jaiden has been actively participating in sports since his kindergarten soccer league. Inspired by his sister, an Athletic Trainer, and his love of movement he is working on becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach following his graduation this summer. He hopes to combine his knowledge of movement and training expertise to provide optimal conditioning to clients of all varieties.
