Our livestream yoga classes don’t require any fancy equipment, and our strength classes teach you how to use whatever equipment you have; dumbbells, bands, or even just bodyweight to get the best workout possible. Meanwhile our in-person fitness offerings have everything you need and more.

For our In-Person offerings, in our small studios, it may just be you and your personal trainer, or a group of 4 or less. Our fitness classes are a Maximum of 9. In addition, all of our LIVE Online classes (unlike a free Youtube video) bring the energy, accountability, and personal attention of a studio class in the comfort of your home.

What is The Mix All About?

May 2016. With the help of family and friends, The Mix was born with a passion for helping people move in fun ways. We are all about offering a fun and effective Mix of fitness options, and NOT about counting calories. Above all, Mixing up our movement to stay strong and happy!
April 2020. Due to Covid, The Mix moved into a spare room in our Ypsilanti home and started our livestream offerings to people all across the USA.
August 2021. Because of strong desire to start seeing people in person again, we moved into our W. Cross st. Studio in Ypsilanti.
January 2022. In addition, we expanded our trampoline class offerings by temporarily renting a space in the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on N. Huron in Ypsilanti.
June 2022. After that, we expanded to our N. River St. in Depot Town Studios next to the Food Co-op giving us two additional spaces.
June 2024. Next, we closed our small Cross St. Studio and opened the larger Harriet St. Studios that also offers Massage in addition to expanding our other offerings.
We have 6 unique, beautiful, and private studio spaces to facilitate a Mix of fitness and wellness offerings.
Now… With the help of 25 amazing trainers and instructors, we offer a Mix of over 50 fun online, in-studio, and outdoor fitness classes including Strength Training, Mini Trampoline Fitness, Yoga, Mat Pilates, Step Aerobics, Cardio Drumming, Massage, and more. We also offer Personal Training, Semi-Private Training, Nutrition Services, and multiple special events every month.
